       Christine  Simoneau  Hales
Creating a poetic, visual language to express the dynamics of the inner heroic journey is the task of the artist.  Finding a balance between imagery of the early centuries and twenty first century esthetics, Christine's work is infinitely interesting and engaging.  It invites the viewer into an interior world where color and form describe a dream like world of challenges, hopes and adventures in faith.

Icons are written with egg tempera, on wood panels with gold leaf gilding. They are used for prayer and each image has content and meaning which brings insight to our present day walk with God.
